I am pleased to give high ratings to the Enotria Wine Bar & Cafe.  This establishment is about 5 years old and is in a redeveloping Arts Area of Sacramento.  With the new Arden/Garden Expressway it is very easy to get there from I-5, Downtown or the Capitol City Expressway. It is just 10 minutes from Arco Arena and very convenient for dining after a Kings Game which we did last night.  The menu offers a nice selection of California Cuisine, with some great fresh seafood dishes. Sue tried the Special of the day which was a seefood dish that had swordfish and scallops over coocoos seasoned with olive oil and mushrooms. She also had a mixed green salad.  Both items were excellent. I had the the soup of the day which was New England Chowder with mussels and clams in the shell.  It was flavorful and unique. Next, I had the Shortribs which were braised and served over rissotto.  The thick, reduction gravy with mushrooms made this dish exquisit.  Over the years Enotria has always had excellent food, but has suffered from inconsistent service,  The new owners in place for about two years have corrected the problems and made Enotria one of Sacramento's Best Restaurants.  It is relatively small with dining inside and on the Patio.  Enotria is located on Arden Way at Del Paso Blvd in the Heart of the Uptown Arts District of North Sacramento.  Here are my ratings based on my most current meal.  Food A, Service A, Atmosphere B, Overall A. Reservations are suggested for lunch or dinner, Call (916) 922-6792.
