| Frank Fat's is one of
Sacramento's most famous
restaurants. At any given time you
can see legislators, lobbiests and
stars enjoying the Chinese-American Food
in an upscale atmosphere. It is
located at 806 L Street, just a
block and a half from the State
Capitol. When you enter you
immediately know you are in a special
place. You see the long bar with
the ceiling two stories above. Off
to the right is a narrow stairway that
leads to the private banquet room and
past the bar are the private booths and
tables in the dining room. The
entrees vary from traditional Chinese to
Steak, but what ever you do, save
room for desert. The specialty is
Frank Fat's Famous Banana Cream
Pie. We have been to Frank
Fat's for many special occassions for our
family and the food and service is always
superb. On our last visit we had a
group of twenty. Our table was
ready when we arrived and we quickly set
a festive tone. Most of us ordered
our favorite Chinese Dish and shared
family style. We had a variety of foods
from vegie to pepper steak.
Everyone went away full and happy.
The ratings are: Food A, Ambience A,
Service A, Overall A+., Price: Moderate
to High. A great place for those special
occassions or to reccommend
to friends. |
