Uptown Cafe, Sacramento, CA P95

The Uptown Cafe, is a hidden treasure.  It is open for Breakfast and Lunch, only, weekdays and Saturday.  It is in Sacramento's, now fashionable, Uptown Arts District, and could be classified as a "hole-in-the-wall" with two tables inside, six tables in the patio and a counter that seats about 10.  Their is no better breakfast, anywhere and the lunches are great.  George the owner/chef has given a working-mans menu a touch of class.  My favorite is the UPTOWN CLUB on striped rye.  This is a place where my out of town sales reps, always want to go for lunch.  It truly Rates an A, I would like to reccommend it to everyone, but if he gets too much business, there won't be room for me.
