| If you want a single room in
the Carmel area for under a $100 per
night, you should seriously consider
buying an "Entertainment
Book". Without it, the room
for which I paid $55 + tax, would have
been $109. The Carmel HIll Lodge is an
older motel, perhaps constructed in the
'60s, but it is quiet and clean and well
worth the $55. $109?...no way!
"Motel
row" is on Munras street, a direct
exit from Hwy. 1. There are perhaps
10 or more motels in the area, so unless
Monterey is very crowded, you should have
no problem getting a room.
