| What a difference almost
three years makes! The huge Margaritas
are now up to $4...and not as good.
The
"greek" portion of the menu is
now down to just the greek salad.
The rest
of the "mexican" portion of the
menu is below average, somewhat
"gloppy" with mounds of
ill-defined "stuff".
And the
attitude of the waitstaff is somewhere
between condescending and inattentive.
What's
with the signs on every table:
" First basket of chips and salsa
free. Additional chips:
$1.50. Additional Salsa:
$1.50."
Food:
C...maybe D in some cases.
Ambiance: C... Except for the
screaming kids, nothing much has changed.
Attitude: C...They try to be
friendly, but something gets in the way.
Parking: A...Still a big lot
outside.
Service: C...somewhere between
inattentive and glacial, considering the
selections.
Value: Still good...but why bother?

| Nothing particularly
impressive about Cafe del Sol except for
their huge $3 Margaritas and their ....
Greek Salad... in a Mexican
restaurant? The owners are Greek
and list some Greek lamb dishes along
with the Greek salad. The salad
isn't particularly authentic, but it is
tasty and far better than one might
expect in a Mexican restaurant in a
Denver surburb. The Mexican food is
run-of-the-mill tacos, tostados, fajitas,
etc., well prepared and very reasonably
priced.
The
waitresses seem to suffer some sort of
attitude malady, but nothing
insurmountable.
If the
weather permits, eat outside on the
patio. It's nice in warm weather
and more comfortable than the
airconditioned interior.
Food: B.
Service: C. Attitude: C-. Ambiance: B.
Value: A.
