Yesterday we ate at a place
that was a cafe, bakery and deli. Today
it was a pancake house with a gift shop.
McCall must be full of these combo
businesses. Actually the restaurant has a
 Christmas House, a
shop full of Christmas decorations and
gifts. You couldn't help but checking it
out as the wait for a table was half to
one hour! There were people waiting
everywhere! Many waited outside in a
light snow.The place was really crowded
but the service was very friendly. It
made you appreciate the fact that you
were in a small town. No less than four
ladies waited on us through the course of
breakfast. They were all really nice and
provided excellent service.
We had the
McCall omelet that had ham, mushrooms,
onions, tomatoes and cheese. The
hashbrown was the standard institutional
type but the sourdough toast was
excellent.
The owners
are planning a new and bigger location by
next year.
