| A Top Pick in the
Area |
| |
| I really enjoyed myself the
several times I ate at Bertolini's. It is
located by the fountains in the
"square" of the Forum Shops at
Caesars. For me, eating a late lunch or
having a drink and a snack in the
"outside" dining area is the
quintessential Las Vegas experience. The ceiling of the
entire Forum Shops area is a painted sky.
The lighting changes constantly
simulating day to dusk. In the area of
Bertolini's you are transported to
another place.
The food
and service were only okay to good. They
often seemed to be short handed so the
service was spotty. The fresh mozzarella
and tomato salad had tomatoes that were
hard and had barely turned pink. The
basil were in whole leaves that required
careful cutting at the table for
consumption. However, the fresh clam and
pasta dish was excellent.
You may
not want to buy a full meal there but I
feel that you will have a great time
taking in the ambience.
