We have visited The Range
three times within the last nine months.
Every meal had surpassed our
expectations. Look, there are a lot of
great restaurants on the Strip. Every
casino/hotel has a fine steakhouse. We
love The Range for the food, the view,
the wide open spaciousness and the price. The food has been
very fine and dependable. Bagel chips and
salsa were served automatically. The
onion soup was served in a large hollowed
out onion. The crab dip tortilla hors
d'oeuvres was tasty and generous. Salad
greens were well chilled and refreshing.
I enjoyed their Caesar salad with
anchovies.
Ah, the
beef, they were wonderful on all three
occasions! My favorites were the
blackened ribeye chop and the prime rib.
I belief that the rib steak is the most
flavorful of beef cuts. The prime rib
literally can be cut with a fork.
The Range
has one of the best views on the Strip.
I'll leave it at that so you can see for
yourself. If you are tired of the stuffy
and cramped quarters in many of the
traditional steakhouses this place will
exhilarate you.
As for the price, at The
Range, the bagel chips, salad AND
sautéed cabernet mushrooms were included
with the entree! The Range is quite a
bargain among the top steakhouses.
The
service was a little weak in that each
wait staff was responsible for too many
tables.
