| Pine Tavern is
not...a tavern, that is. Pine Tavern is an
excellent restaurant overlooking Mirror Pond in
downtown Bend. It must be widely famous,
because the couple of times I've been there, the
place has been absolutely packed.
Reservations are suggested. Food is excellent...a
rather typical "Northwest Continental"
menu with good steaks, salmon and an assortment
of other entreés.
Prices are well
within range of similar restaurants in
Portland.
