| Alfie's Wayside Country Inn, Dundee, OR | P32 |
| CLOSED |
| What a great place to
escape the busy city, take a short drive out in the
country and have a good meal...especially on a warm
summer evening. Alfie's is on Highway 99W, southwest of Portland. Go through Tigard...another five miles or so to Newberg and then a couple of miles past Newberg into Dundee. Alfie's is on the left...you can't miss it. The menu is a bit hard to describe...continental? Probably. Northwest? Sure. Interesting? Definitely. "What's a Zanzibar?"...Everything is presented on a large chalkboard, but questions are definitely in order. The food is good, but not spectacular. Prices can seem a bit high...but it is quiet and relaxed, especially if you eat outside. Food: A- to B+. Attitude: A. Parking: A. Value: B. |
