| The Oregonian says Hayden's
menu is "internationally accented
and seasonal." Whatever that
means, this is a really nice place with
excellent food and a staff which is eager
to please. My wife's entreé salad had
too much dressing. No
problem. "We'll take it off
the bill. We want our customers to
be happy with their experience at
Hayden's."
The Caesar
salad had REAL, freshly made Caesar
dressing...not the white gloppy stuff now
featured at so many restaurants.
Unfortunately, it also had the huge slabs
of Romaine lettuce covering the plate
which have to be cut with a knife, but
since this is a personal aversion of
mine, I guess I'll just have to "get
over it."
Hayden's
is a bit of a "Northwest
Continental" restaurant, with a
reasonably priced menu featuring items
you would expect, but with some very nice
variations. It's located on the
south end of the "lake" in
Tualatin, adjoining the Century
Hotel.
