| This visit, the shrimp in
the salad smelled bad...much like they
had been in the refrigerator far too
long...the noodles upon which they were
placed were tough and gluey. The vegetables on
my granddaughter's bar-b-cued ribs were
very much over salted.
I think
Hot Seat isn't trying to be much of a
restaurant but perhaps some kind of
sports bar.

| Excuses, excuses,
excuses...that's what we got when the two
salads we ordered took 40 minutes to
reach the table. The people are
nice enough, but with a bit more
training, the owner would have just given
us an appetizer "on the
house"...end of problem. The
excuses were just too much. The food was good,
but about a dollar more than I would have
expected to pay at other similar
restaurants in the Portland area.
I had a
"Jerk chicken" salad; my wife,
the "Asian Shrimp salad".
Nothing spectacular, but good.
