& Schmick's chain, this restaurant is
west of Portland in Beaverton. McCormick's Fish
House & Bar features the same
excellent seafood entrees as do its
sister restaurants in the Portland
area. Dinner menus, aren't printed
until late in the afternoon to make sure
of the freshest seafood available that
day.
Since it's
June, I opted for the Copper River
Salmon...excellent, if a bit spendy at
$21.95. My wife had 5 large prawns
in some sort of ill-defined heavy sauce
which was still quite good, even at
$19.95.
The Caesar
salad, while not technically
"correct" is good, and not
replete with white gloppy stuff for
dressing.
I'd have
to rate McCormick's restaurants as the
best seafood restaurants in the Portland
area for their fresh seafood and
variety...but a touch on the spendy
side.
