| While the food was
excellent, the service was ABYSMAL.
One member of the party received the
wrong dish, yet the waiter did not return
once to inform of the error. She
was left to eat something she did not
order or not dine at all. We had to
go up front and request the check.
Even if this were an inexpensive
restaurant, the service was unacceptable.
Prepare to be ready to wait on yourself
if you dine here. |

the Area |

| Ricardo's has grown from a
small "mom & pop" Italian
deli-style restaurant with red and white
checkered plastic table cloths into one
of the best Italian restaurants in the
Portland area. Ricardo's family is
from the Marches
(pronounced: Mar-Key) region of
Italy and several trips to Italy have
resulted in Ricardo's having one of the
best selection of Italian wines in the
area. Across the always busy
parking lot is "Vin Italy", the
retail outlet for some of these wines. Since opening a
"back patio" with an authentic
Tuscan feel a few years back, Ricardo's
has become more popular, especially in
the warm summer months.
