I've eaten there twice and find the Caesar salad VERY MUCH to my liking.  It's close to being the best in the Portland area...from a "salad/pasta" buffet restaurant?  Yup!  No white gloppy stuff for Caesar dressing here, good fresh Romaine lettuce and a pretty fair taste.  Probably a tad light on the garlic and anchovies to keep it in the mainstream, but a very good Caesar none the less. 

Sweet Tomatoes features fresh soups made from scratch every day, foccacia bread/pizza and three different kinds of pasta.  The pasta is excellent as well, with good care being taken by the "pasta chef" to cook just the right amount, cook it properly and season it well. 

All in all, a good place for lunch...but much like Zoopa's, you won't get much in the way of protein.
