"Award Winning" restaurant and jazz lounge the banner in front proclaims.  OK...I'll bite.  What kind of award?

Sorry, nothing special here...just mediocrity and a bit slower service than you would expect.

While 5 minutes is not a long time in the grand scheme of things, having to sit at a table waiting for menus, water, or any sort of recognition is certainly "out of the ordinary".

Ordered and waited...and waited...and waited.  After about 25 minutes, the onion soup was served with the beef tips.  Since both are supposed to be served and eaten hot, how do you suspect this would be best accomplished?  Eat the soup first and let the beef tips get cold?  or eat the beef tips first and let the soup get cold.  Hmmmm...neither option worked very well.
But both were good...nothing exceptional, but good.  I asked to examine the Caesar salad dressing before ordering...looked and tasted like some sort of gelatinous yellow stuff from a bottle.  Passed on the Caesar.

Oh well...the waitstaff tried to be friendly at least.
