I've eaten at Wu's Open
Kitchen (at this location, there are four
locations in Southwest Portland suburbs)
a couple of times and find it to be
"better than average".
You ask for something hot, it is
generally hot...ask for it to be
mild-ditto, etc. Ingredients are
good and fresh, with all the ubiquitous
items from every other Chinese restaurant
menu in the area. So
why go to Wu's? Well, it's always a
constant and it's probably in the top 20
Chinese restaurants in
Portland. Trying to find
acceptable Chinese food in Portland,
Oregon, is no problem...trying to find
barely acceptable Chinese food in
Portland, Oregon, is, unfortunately, no
problem either...
Trying to
find TRULY EXCEPTIONAL Chinese food in
Portland, Oregon, is a HUGE
problem. I wish I could find a
Chinese restaurant which is exemplary,
but I've yet to do so in Portland.
