| da Vinci's Italiano Ristorante, Milwaukie, OR | P53 |
| Da Vinci's had changed
hands since my last visit a few years ago and
"everyone" says nice things about the new place
so I thought I'd give it a try. A bit of a disappointment, I'm afraid. While the folks are very nice, the food is good but nothing exceptional. Minestrone soup was far too flavored with heavy tomato; the green salad with butter lettuce was good, but the Italian dressing wasn't particularly impressive. The rigatone with garlic and olive oil was good, but could have been better. Bread was OK, but nothing to write home about. All in all, da Vinci's is just a good, mom and pop Italian restaurant from my perspective. Food: B. Service: A. Parking: A. Attitude: A. Value: B |
