| Wow...the Caesar salad gods
must be smiling on me this month...two
restaurants in the same month with a REAL
Caesar salad...not a hint of "white
gloppy stuff", no tomatoes, no
olives, no boat sized slabs of Romaine
lettuce... A REAL CAESAR
SALAD! Well, it wasn't quite as
good at Castagna Cafe's Caesar, but it
was good...rating maybe a 6 on a scale of
1 to 10. BUT IT WAS REALLY A
CAESAR! Nice folks, good food,
moderate prices...what's not to
like.
The
chicken cooked in cider was
excellent...as was the salad
caprice. The "soup du
jour" was an excellent white bean
seasoned with bay leaves and for $4.95
for a bowl, a good value as well.
The bread
was perhaps a little dense for my taste,
but that's just a personal foible.
