Cabo Express, Fresh Mexican Grill, Portland, OR P59

A Top Pick for Best Value

A bit of a gem!  No, it's not spectacular cuisine and it is very small (four tables and two stools at the counter hold a maximum of 14 people VERY TIGHTLY) but everything is fresh and "home made".

The various tacos alone are worth a visit.  Crab, fish, pork, chicken and beef are all excellent, but my favorite is the crab, normally on special for 4/$5.50.  Three is usually enough for all but the heartiest appetites, so add a pork taco to this for $2.00 and for $7.50 my wife and I have an excellent Mexican meal.

Everything I've tried here is excellent and worth a trip west of Portland to find Cabo Express.  The first trip is a bit of a challenge as the restaurant is in a small strip mall on the southwest corner of Saltzman Road and Barnes Road.
