| Located between the Memorial
Coliseum and the Rose Garden, this
Italian restaurant is a lot better than
you would think, especially on a cold,
rainy winter evening before a hockey or
basketball game. Their minestrone
soup is my favorite in Portland.
Their pasta dishes, while not winning any
awards for creativity are quite good.
About the
only thing lacking is some sort of bread
being brought to the table to eat while
waiting for your entreé...but most of
its patrons are supposed to be in a hurry
prior to a game, so maybe there's a
purpose.
