| Why bother? Right across the
street is Saigon Kitchen...much cleaner,
better food, better service and better
prices.
Eagle Thai
seems to feature soy bottles replete with
caked & crystalized, ill-defined
stuff...ditto the "hot sauce"
jar...ditto the salt shaker...ditto the
tray in which they all dwell.
My dining
partner had shrimp and brocolli...not
bad, but nothing special.
We split
an order of "salad rolls with
shrimp"...not bad, but they're
better at Misohapi and Saigon Kitchen.
I had the
"delicious" bar-b-cued beef,
"cooked in a sweet soy
sauce"...not really very good at
all.
Generally,
the folks at Eagle Thai kept the water
glasses full, but when it came time for
the check, there was no one to be
found...and what a nifty trick...you have
to add the tip BEFORE they send in the
Visa invoice for approval.
