| Fadó was recently reviewed
in The Oregonian as having
reasonable prices, but nothing
special...so what's wrong with that as
long as the food is good? My wife had the
Asian Salmon for $11.95...nice salmon,
good price.
I had a
decent Caesar Salad for $6.95...no, it
wasn't perfect but it had less of the
"white gloppy stuff" than most
and a good flavor.
The
"Irish Smoked Salmon" appetizer
was excellent, but at $8.95 a bit pricey.
Fadó
features several Irish beers/ales on
tap. Harp Larger, Guinness, etc.,
and Strongbow hard
cider.
I was
impressed at the conversion from what was
essentially a "strip mall" type
location for a previous Pizza Restaurant
to the warm and somewhat darkened Irish
Pub.
Nice
friendly folks...a good place to eat well
and without breaking the bank, especially
on Portland's trendy 23rd avenue.
