With every cloud comes a silver lining.  Not long ago, Laslow's closed their Broadway Bistro on N. W. Broadway in Portland...but they opened at this location, just off tres chic 23rd avenue.

Nothing has changed!  Laslow's is still a marvelous restaurant with excellent, friendly service.  Certainly, Laslow's should be ranked in Portland's top 10 restaurants.

I've found nothing to criticize on several visits...Laslow's isn't inexpensive, but then you didn't expect it would be, did you?

On one visit with a business colleague, he made a comment:  "For these prices, I expect 'ecstasy'.  I didn't get 'ecstasy'."  Well...I don't think the prices demand 'ecstasy' and the food is excellent across the entire menu.  The prices aren't THAT expensive, all quite in line with the better restaurants in town.

In the warm months, dining on the front porch affords a fine view of 23rd avenue, but Laslow's location is far enough back on Kearney to avoid all the pan handlers you can encounter on 23rd as well.
