| I love everything about
this place except for the noise. The restaurant is
quite small and when packed with happy diners, the noise
level can reach nearly excrutiating levels. That
negative aside, however, Le Bouchon is a wonderful
place. First
off, it negates everything you've ever heard or read
about the "nasty French people". The
folks who run Le Bouchon are exactly like the French
people I've encountered in France. They're warm and
friendly and very happy to share their food and culture
with you. If you speak a little French, use it
here...don't be shy. They love it and will make you
feel better for trying to speak their language.
The food is
excellent! The menu is reasonably long and varied
and everything I've tried has been wonderful.
Le Bouchon is very
popular. I would suggest reservations for lunch or
dinner.
Food: A+. Service: A+.
Attitude: A+. Ambiance: A when the restaurant's not
full...B because of noise when full. Parking: Can be a
problem, so arrive for your reservation early. Value: A.
