Lemongrass Thai Restaurant, Portland, OR P15

Again, The Oregonian and I differ as to the best Thai restaurant in Portland.  While I'll grant Lemongrass has marvelous food with excellent preparation, their prices are too high...especially since they don't take credit cards...and the service can be glacial.

The last time I ate there, I fortunately had enough cash for my wife and I, but since I usually don't carry more than $20 cash, I could have been embarrassed.

The Tum Yum Gum soup is certainly excellent...perhaps the best in Portland...but for the price, it had better be.  For a little less spectacular flavor...and a lot less money, I prefer the Tum Yum Gum soup at Typhoon!

The entrées were equally excellent, with subtle flavors not found in other Thai restaurants...but the prices were a bit too high.
