| Mandarin Cove, Portland, OR | P110 |
| Portland has no superb
Chinese restaurants as found in San Francisco. If
we rate the best of San Francisco's as a "10"
on a scale of "1-10", Portland used to have a
few "7's" and maybe an "8". The Mandarin Cove used to be perhaps a "7" or "8". Unfortunately, it has descended into mediocrity and might now be a strong "5". The food isn't particularly good or fresh...there's absolutely nothing to separate it from myriad Chinese restaurants in the "'burbs". It's just another Chinese restaurant serving mediocre food. Food: B. Service: B-. Attitude: B to C. Ambiance: B. Parking: Can be a challenge. Value: A-. |
