| What was anticipated to be
an exceptional meal turned out (through a
completely unsatisfactory Caesar salad)
to be a failure. This Caesar salad
had some "white, gloppy stuff"
for a dressing, but it wasn't the normal
"white, gloppy stuff"...this
was more of a "white runny
stuff"....but that wasn't the
problem. This "white runny
stuff" had no taste...no garlic, no
anchovies, no nothing...just a completely
unsatisfactory Caesar salad.
The hummus
appetizer was OK, but nothing to write
home about.
My dining
companions had some "tres chic"
scrambled eggs and potatoes...covered
with some sort of frightfully yellow
cheese type stuff...they said it was
good. I'll have to take their word
for it.
Well...at
least the onion/garlic bread was
good.
