McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant, Portland, OR P25

When friends ask me to recommend a good seafood restaurant in Portland, the first name that comes to mind is McCormick & Schmick's.  True, their small chain of 3-4 restaurants in the Portland area was recently sold to a national chain, but their seafood is excellent and their overall demeanor hasn't changed.

Along with the Northwest favorites of Salmon and Halibut prepared in simple but delicious manners, many other seasonal seafoods appear on their menu depending on the time of year.  All I've had are fresh and excellent.

With only rare exceptions, Caesar salads in the Portland area have more or less "globs of white gloppy stuff".  Thankfully, you can get a nice Caesar at McCormick & Schmicks in a size to match your appetite...without the gloppy stuff.

Food: A to A-. Service: A to A-. Parking: at this location can be a problem due to its downtown location. Attitude: A. Value: A.
