| Misohapi's food is Viet
& Thai and is all excellent. Large portions are
the norm and it is unusual to see everyone at a table eat
their full meal and not take some home in a "doggie
bag". The
seafood dishes are especially good with those containing
shrimp typically having 10 shrimp or more per dish for
between $5.95 and $8.95.
Misohapi has the best
value in salad rolls in town, $3.50 for two large rolls
with pork, shrimp, cilantro, bamboo shoots and
noodles. If you're not very hungry, it isn't hard
to make a full meal from just these rolls.
On the vegetarian side,
try the dry salted string beans with carmalized soy
sauce.
In the long, rainy
Portland winters, they have several seafood soups which
are all excellent.
You might ask your server
if it's possible to have asparagus and seafood. It's
not on the menu and for $8.95 is a super meal.
I've eaten at Misohapi in
excess of 100 times in the past couple of years and rate
as Portland's BEST VALUE!
In the trend of several
Portland restaurants, Misohapi can be VERY LOUD when
full.
