| While their menu is
somewhat limited, all the selections I've had are
excellent. The fried calimari with lime sauce is
exceptional as are all salmon dishes. The marinated
skirt steak, while appearing to be of "lunch"
portion on the menu, is actually quite a large serving,
perhaps necessitating a "doggie bag" for all
but the largest appetites. The Caesar salad is one of the best in
Portland, but unfortunately acquiesces to Portland's
fetish of having large slabs of un-cut Romaine lettuce
covering the plate. Personally, I don't like to
wield a knife on my salad, but it's becoming increasingly
hard to find Caesars with small pieces of romaine.
While some of the
appetizers can suffice for a lunch, most of the entrées
are a dollar or two more than you would expect to spend,
but overall, the food is excellent.
