| Recent months have seen
several shifts in personnel. While that is a
concern to the newspaper critics, my only concern
is: Is the food good and a good value?
Pazzo's has always been excellent, with some interesting
pasta dishes not found at other Portland area Italian
restaurants. Service is excellent once you get past
the somewhat pretentious greeter/host/hostess, who on my
several visits always seems quite a bit affected with
their importance, and who doesn't reflect anything like a
"welcome". That
said, once seated, Pazzo's is an excellent Italian
restaurant on the corner of Washington and Broadway.
Parking can be a bit of a
problem downtown, but you can self park across the street
at the Bank of California parking lot for about $5 and
save a lot of time looking for a parking place.
