Piccolo Mondo, Portland, OR P109

What a little gem!  Good food, good prices, lots of choices, good wine, what's not to like?

Piccolo Mondo has been around a long time.  When talking about the best Italian restaurants in Portland, it's seldom mentioned...probably because of its location in John's Landing shopping center.  But it is well worth a visit.  In the summer, outside dining on their patio is very pleasant.  In the winter, their main floor dining area and mezzanine is usually full of happy diners.

Nothing spectacular here, just good food, good service and a good time.
