| It's been quite a while
since I've eaten at the Saigon Kitchen,
but it has quickly reminded me that I
shouldn't wait so long again. Charcoal Beef
served with rice papers, cilantro,
lettuce, carrots, bamboo shoots and
peanut/plum sauce for $7.95 was
EXCELLENT!
Shrimp and
asparagus...chicken and brocolli were
both excellent as well.
This is
perhaps the freshest Viet/Thai food in
Portland...at least the freshest I've
had.
The
service, unfortunately, can be a bit
spotty when they get busy. It took
ages for our water glasses to be refilled
and our wait for our check could only be
described as "glacial".
We finally had to go to the cash register
to get our check and pay.
