| This is simply a delightful
"French" restaurant run by two
"chef families", the head chefs
of which are French-cuisine-trained, and
women which is always good. It is where the old
Patissierie used to be, on the corner of
2nd and Couch.
It's main
excellence is wonderful food, rather
sophisticated, using top grade quality
ingredients (and it tastes as such).
It is now
a regular for me: I sit at the old French
oak bar which in itself is a joy.
They are open all hours, which is also
helpful. My favorite thing has to
be the Steak Tartare which is as good as
anything I ever had in France, Belgium or
Holland. Whether it's breakfast,
brunch, afternoon tea (think, deserts)
or, ..ah.. dinner, just go there and
enjoy.
