| Not bad...just a small,
owner operated Thai restaurant near the
U. of O. Campus. I didn't expect a
Michelin 3 star...nor did I receive
it.
The menu
was replete with several recognizable
Thai dishes and the ones my Laotian
dining companion and I had were quite
good.
As is
unfortunately the norm, the waitress
didn't take me seriously when I asked for
hot. The beef salad I had was good,
but not particularly hot. Perhaps
it was "hot enough" for a
somewhat "normal" palate, but
doggone it...when I ask for HOT...it
rarely EVER comes that way. You
would think that when I say:
"If you make it too hot, I'll pay
you double..." That might get
someone to actually make the dish really
hot. It hardly ever works.
Oh
well...pleasant enough place, especially
considering the location!
