guess Papa Mia's is about what one should
suspect for an Italian restaurant/pizza
parlor in Monroe...but it really doesn't
have to be like that. Not a bad list of
pastas, but the chicken doesn't have to
be deep fried...and the marinara sauce
doesn't have to have sugar in it, and the
Chianti doesn't have to be so sweet does
it?
I was
hoping for a bit more, but the food was
good, if somewhat pedestrian.
I guess I
should have taken the clue from the
waitress when I asked if the Caesar
dressing was "white and gloppy"
or more on the clear side. She
actually seemed insulted that I would ask
and imply that "white and
gloppy" wasn't the way all Caesar
dressing is.
