| Beaches is a bit of an
"upscale" watering hole at
lunch and a good, stable
"continental" restaurant for
dinner...nothing spectacular, but with a
trend towards seafood...think
"upscale Chili's" and you're
close. The waitstaff is generally
friendly and competent, and the Caesar
salad has less of the "white
gloppy" stuff that passes for Caesar
dressing than do most Caesars in
Northwestern restaurants these days.
Perhaps
their dinners are a dollar or two higher
than you might expect to pay for this
level of service and culinary excellence,
but they're selling their
"Beaches" concept...right there
on the north shore of the Columbia River
in Vancouver.
