Featuring a menu more
extensive than most and actually
"HOT" food, this Thai
restaurant in Vancouver, is a cut above
the average Thai restaurant in the
area.
The lunch menu was quite extensive,
featuring several sections...each with
several selections of a particular
theme. From the "SALAD"
section, I ordered a VERY HOT beef Larb
salad and wasn't disappointed...at least
by the spice. It was definitely an
effort to make it hot with spices and it
was excellent. The presentation,
however, was a bit strange. I had
expected the beef to be mixed with
lettuce or cabbage, but just a pile of
beef and a wedge
of somewhat wilted cabbage left a bit to
be desired.
My dining companion had Phad Thai and
proclaimed it to be excellent...as was
the appetizer of spring rolls.
Perhaps everything was a little bit more
than I expected to pay, but the food was
excellent.
