| "The Best Teriyaki in
Town"...Every time I drive by this
restaurant, it's quite busy. This
led me to conclude the food would be good
and reasonably priced. Well...it is
reasonably priced. If this is truly
"The Best Teriyaki in Town",
then Seattle has a serious problem with
its Teriyaki restaurants.
I ordered
the daily special "Spicy
Chicken" for $4.95...a great price,
a good quantity of not especially good
food.
The dish
had the obligatory large pile of rice and
salad with some sort of ill-defined
dressing. The "Spicy
Chicken" wasn't...even after I asked
for it to be EXTRA HOT. In fact it
was some sort of fried chicken...much
like General Tso's chicken. Most of
the pieces tasted OK, but a few pieces
tasted quite old and a bit strong.
