| Well, all things considered,
a bit of a disappointment...I was hoping
for something "really new and
different and exciting". The Caesar Salad
with four "wood oven broiled"
shrimp for $11.95 was a bit much for a
slightly better than average Caesar salad
and shrimp. I could have opted for
the Caesar with chicken for three dollars
less...probably a better deal...but the
salad as an entrée was quite
small. At least the dressing was
good, fresh and made in the
restaurant...not the white gloppy
stuff. But the Romaine lettuce was
again long and clumsy and had to be cut
with a knife.
My dining
companion had a Pesto chicken sandwich
ordered without tomatoes...which promptly
arrived with tomatoes. She
proclaimed it to be not quite as good as
La Buca's...but it was twice the
price.
We had to
ask for bread. It had some sort of
"sail" made of a parmesian
flavored thin cracker...quite good; two
small pieces of focaccia and two
small pieces of olive
pugliese. The focaccia was
unexceptional...the pugliese was quite
moist and excellent.
