| I've eaten at Geno's many
times in the past several years and unfortunately, unless
you're just looking for a "mom and pop" Italian
restaurant with spaghetti, meatballs and marinara sauce,
you're probably going to be disappointed. Over the years, the minestrone soup
seems to have gotten a bit plain, as have the entreés,
and virtually everything on the menu. If you're
looking for an upscale Italian restaurant, Geno's won't
work.
If, on the other hand,
you're just interested in pedestrian Italian food at good
prices, Geno's is probably just what you're looking
for.
I'm guessing the proximity
to Gonzaga University has forced the owners to just serve
up "Mom and Pop" style Italian food...and
considering Spokane's cold winters, that may be just what
the doctor ordered.
