Niko's, Spokane, WA P337

A Top Pick in the Area

Certainly the concept of "location, location, location" is paramount to most any retail business and the somewhat dismal location of Niko's makes it far less visited than it deserves.  Tucked in south of busy East Sprague in an innocuous little strip mall, Niko's serves up some excellent Greek food.

The pita bread is always soft and warm; soups are homemade and excellent; their Greek version of a Caesar salad is good and contains no white gloppy dressing and their dinner selections are numerous and varied.

I've eaten there twice and enjoyed both visits, usually having some version of beef in hummus...but on one occasion my dining companion had Sheish Tawook and proclaimed it excellent.

If you're from out of town, probably the best way to get to Niko's is to head east on Interstate 90.  Take the Argonne Road exit and turn south.  Just after Argonne crosses Sprague look to your left...and don't blink...it's in the corner of the strip mall.
