| This little place will
never win a Michelin star, but for a
friendly neighborhood restaurant, it has
a lot going for it. The menu is long
with selections for nearly every
taste. Everything I've tried is
quite good and the service is friendly
and very quick, something not found in
many "traditional" restaurants.
Their
Caesar salad comes replete with the white
gloppy stuff that passes for Caesar
dressing in most restaurants these days,
but if you ask for very little to be used
it actually approaches a "normal,
correct" Caesar. Their
hamburgers are excellent and priced
reasonably, ditto their pasta
dishes.
Pepperdine's
is NOT on the "beaten path",
but rather south of Spokane on the
"south hill"; definitely not
the easiest place to find. But if
you want a good meal with friendly,
efficient servers try it, you'll like it.
