| Having just eaten at Jake's
Famous Crawfish in Portland, I wanted to
make a point to myself that excellent
Salmon can be had in the Northwest in
decent sized portions for less than
$19.90. Anthony's was just the
ticket...
$14.95 for
an excellent, large piece of "Alder
Planked Salmon"...$4.95 less than
Jake's, better fish, better flavor,
better atmosphere.
Their
Caesar Salad was good as well...no,
unfortunately, it wasn't a REAL Caesar,
but it was good...maybe rating a 5 on a
scale of 1-10. I do wish someone
would tell me of a restaurant that still
makes REAL Caesar Salads. Alas, I
fear most restaurants are serving the
"white gloppy stuff"...some
sort of ill-defined, gelatinous white
stuff that has some garlic taste (or
not)...and calling it a Caesar
Salad. Pity.
Anyway...Anthony's
was just what you would expect for a
seafood restaurant in the Puget
Sound...nice view, fresh fish, decent
prices...Jake's could learn a thing or
two from them.
