| To my knowledge, Keoki's
has the only Teppanyaki table in this area. In this case,
the grille and the work area is surrounded by a counter
with seating. The steaks or seafood, along with some
fresh vegetables are cooked at the grill, then served.
While it is entertaining to sit at the Teppanyaki table,
don't expect to be entertained with the flying food,
flying salt and pepper shakers, and knife work by the
chef as you would at a Benihana! The menus for lunch and dinner are
relatively small. One of my favorite items there for
lunch is their Special Chow Mein. It is a stir fry with
soft noodles, Chinese barbecued pork, shrimp, and an
assortment of vegetables. Another good dish for lunch is
the Moo Goo Gai Pin (chicken stir fried with vegetables
and mushrooms). Either dish is under $6.00.
The dinner menu included
items from the Teppanyaki Table such as New York Hibachi
Steak, Yaki-Tori, Teriyaki Steak, Grilled Shrimp, to name
a few. Other Chinese dishes, mostly stir fried,
combinations and family style dinners are available.
Japanese dishes are limited to Shrimp Tempura and
Sukiyaki. All dinner items were under $13.00.
The very small wine list
consisted of some the better Washington State offerings
but I am told that they have another stash of selected
wines for their frequent clients.
