| I've stayed in several
hotels in Brugge, but there's none I
enjoy more than the Oud Huis
Amsterdam....it is a four star and isn't
inexpensive, but it's certainly worth the
price...if nothing else, just for the
breakfasts. While many European
hotels feature minimal
"continental" breakfasts, the
Oud Huis Amsterdam has 3-4 different
meats, 6-8 different cheeses, several
breads, cereal, fruit, yogurt, eggs,
bacon, juice and champagne...all with
Mozart over the sound system. Not a
bad way at all to start your day.
Prices
vary from 5000-5750 bef ($107-$123 at
today's exchange rates) for two.
The Oud
Huis Amsterdam is right on a canal, so
the view from your room is quite
enjoyable.
