| The restaurant we very
busy as we arrived so we were seated in one of the
furthest rooms from the main dining room. The service was
good as were nearly all the restaurants we experienced in
the area. However, due to the rush and perhaps our
location we felt that the choices were limited. This was
the more traditional style of Dim Sum where people
brought carts with the various dishes. The same items
were brought around every few minutes. The Dim Sum lunch we had was very
respectable considering the circumstances. I supposed
that we could have ordered what we did not see but we did
not.
In a recent issue of
Sunset magazine I remembered seeing an article about the
Floata in Vancouver Chinatown as one of the top Dim Sum
places. I believe that the other one mentioned was the President Chinese Seafood
Restaurant in
Richmond. If it was between the Floata in Richmond
against the President, I would certainly pick the
President.
