| Starting at the Arch de
Triumph, walk down the Champs Elyseé on
the right side...about a third of the way
down, you'll be at Deauville...another
quintessential Parisian brasserie.
The exception here, of course, is
Deauville is on the Champs Elyseé and
"people watching" is a MAJOR
industry. Deauville features
"Glaces et Sorbets de la Maison
Berthillion", and is reason enough
to stop if you're in the mood for that
sort of thing.
Deauville
is not ridiculously expensive, but being
on the Champs Elyseé is not bargain
basement either...but do take the time to
people watch. All tables (tiny, is
the operative phrase here) face the
street and a veritable cacophony of
humanity walks by within touching
distance.
Food:

Elyseé? You're got to be
kidding. Take the Metro.
Service: A
Value: B, unless you're really into
watching people.
