| There are certainly myriad
"Brasseries" in Paris and I've
eaten at a good number of them. Le
Bosquet, however, is a "cut
above" the rest. Yes...it
costs a little bit more, but it's worth
it. ALL Brasseries seem to have
similar menus with onion soup, Crocque
Monsieur (& Crocque Madam), Saumon
Fumé, Salad avec Chevre
(chaud)...etc. So...naturally to
compare, I tried essentially the same
items in each Brasserie.
The Onion
soup at Le Bosquet is much better than
the others...not that it's spectacular,
just better and more refined.
The Saumon
Fumé was superior in every way...more
fresh; tasted better, etc.
The Salad
(chaud) avec Chevre was also
better.
Le Bosquet
also featured a bit more room than the
crowded Brasseries and postage stamp
sized tables.
The Avenue
Bosquet is in the 7th Arrondissment, and
runs perpendicular to Avenue Mott
Piquet...about a two minute walk from the
Eifel Tower.
